Day 1: Delhi to Shimla
Start your journey from Delhi early in the morning. The distance between Delhi and Shimla is approximately 350 kilometers, and it takes around 7-8 hours by road.
Enjoy the scenic drive as you pass through the picturesque landscapes of the Himalayas.
Upon reaching Shimla, check-in at your hotel and take some rest.
In the evening, you can explore the Mall Road, which is the main street of Shimla. It's a bustling hub with numerous shops, cafes, and restaurants. You can indulge in some shopping and try local delicacies. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Shimla. Visit the famous Jakhu Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It's located on Jakhu Hill and offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Explore the Viceregal Lodge, a magnificent colonial-era building that once served as the summer residence of British viceroys. Head to the beautiful Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in North India, known for its neo-Gothic architecture.
You can also visit the Shimla State Museum, which houses a rich collection of artifacts, paintings, and sculptures depicting the cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy the serene ambiance of Shimla. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 3: Shimla to Delhi
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your return journey to Delhi.
On the way, you can visit Kufri, a small hill station near Shimla. It is famous for its scenic beauty and adventure activities like horse riding and yak rides.
Spend some time exploring Kufri and enjoying the breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Afterward, continue your journey back to Delhi. Reach Delhi by evening, concluding your memorable trip to Shimla.
